About Verity
Verity Browning writes the Cresthollow Bay Mysteries — small-town crime novels in the British tradition, warm and witty and dark without being grim.
She lives within walking distance of cold water, takes an excessive interest in regional archives, and is on cordial but cautious terms with the local seabird population. She believes the best beach reads have a body count, that every clue should be visible on the first read, and that the right small town is, properly considered, an entire moral universe.
Her debut novel, The Blueprint Murder, is out now. The second Cresthollow Bay Mystery is in the works.
